Author Bio
Katherine Shaughnessy learned to embroider at the age of six and hasn't stopped sewing since. She received her Master of Fine Arts in Fiber Arts from the School of the Art Institute in Chicago. She started her own company, Wool & Hoop (www.woolandhoop.com), after having trouble finding cool crewel embroidery kits. The Wall Street Journal praised her "mission to revitalize the craft among young adults."
