“…the designs in this book are a beautiful collaboration between geometry and art.”
These first few words from the Introduction of Crochet Geometry perfectly capture the essence of this collection. From the author of Designer Crochet, I am thrilled to present a brand new collection of 15 fashion forward crochet garment patterns each brilliantly inspired by a geometric shape. The results are accessible garments and accessories with minimal or no shaping, maximum drape, and that are all immediately wearable. All patterns are available in sizes S to 5X!
The patterns are divided into four sections: Shrugs, Cardigans, Pullovers, and Wraps. Here’s a sneak peak within each section.
The Sleeve Shrug transforms the simple rectangle into a perfect layering piece to adorn a sleeveless dress for a formal occasion or even a tank top and jeans for a casual night. The feather and fan lace elevates this shrug to a whole new level.
The Half Circle Cardigan combines the best of circles and triangles to create a showstopping layering piece with dramatic radiating lines to capture any eye. This piece can be worn at least two ways, but your imagination is the limit!
The T-Top is one of my personal favorite garments in this collection and features a beautiful basket weave design in a figure flattering design. Here we show this pullover modeled in a size Small and in a 3X.
Finally, the Mainsail Wrap is a wearable and trendy take on the quadrilateral. You can wear this piece right side up or upside down—each way creates a dramatic neckline that you can pin closed or wear open and relaxed.
Patterns include charted and written-out instructions, schematics with detailed measurements, and a section of special techniques with photo tutorials for the common techniques used throughout the book including the knotless starting chain, locking mattress stitch, duplicate stitch, and end cap finishing stitch.
Crochet Geometry officially publishes on March 1st, but some stores have copies available to purchase immediately! To purchase or pre-order, check out the links below.
