The first three entries in our Beadweaving Master Class Series have been among out hottest titles ever since the first one, Diane Fitzgerald’s Shaped Beadwork, was released in May 2009. Followed by Marcia DeCoster’s Beaded Opulence in the fall and the newly released Laura McCabe’s Embellished Beadweaving, these three beautiful books offer master classes with some of the leading teachers in beading today–no traveling required!

To celebrate the passionate reception these books have received, we’re delighted to offer a wonderful giveaway of a bundle of all three books signed by their respective authors, Diane Fitzgerald, Marcia DeCoster, and Laura McCabe. To be entered for a chance to win this inspiring prize, leave a comment on this post by 9 p.m EST on Monday, July 26. One winner will be selected at random and announced on Wednesday, July 28. Click here for the official rules.

Any comment will do, but if you’d like, please let us know what other teachers you’d like to see featured in this series. Or tell us about your own beadwork or crafting!

Finally, this seems like the proper moment to share some great news: More books in this series are coming soon. In 2011 you can look forward to fantastic new Beadweaving Master Class releases by Sherry Serafini, Maggie Meister, and Rachel Nelson-Smith. Be sure to check the Lark Jewelry & Beading blog page regularly for updates on these projects, news, interviews, and much more. All of the artist are so wonderful. I have taken inspiration for each of them. I will always feel a great deal of thankfulness for their efforts and their vision! So Thanks folks!

      Christine says:

I can't even imagine how wonderful it would be to win these books. I started beading because of 2 brain surgeries…and I couldn't work anymore. So I am self taught…a lot of searching online…and looking at things. So these would be a very welcomed addition to my very small library of basically just Beading Magazines.

    Ashley L says:

I've recently experimented with beadwork using wire, so weaving would be an awesome new skill for me! (So much more sophisticated than those seedbead daisy necklaces I made when I was 13. Heehee.)

    mamaowl says:

It's at times like these, I wasn't so poor… I'd buy them all, lol

    Chris Aiton says:

I fell in love with beading with first book I purchased: “The Art of Beaded Beads” edited by Jean Campbell. So many fabulous artists and their fabulous beads in those pages. It's a constant source of challenging bead projects for me. Of course I could always use another book…

    Liz Thompson says:

I'll chime in with comments also, it's great to have new and wonderful reference material. Authors I would like to see included would be Dallas Lovett or Cynthia Rutledge. Sootfoot5 says:

I don't know how much teaching, if any, she does, but I would love to see a book done by Diane Hyde. I became interested in her work after she won a recent competition. She's won competitions before, but I only recently became aware of her. Her work is so imaginative, yet there are parts of it that seem possible to beginning, or at least intermediate, beaders, if they will just (lord, I hate this term!) “think out of the box.” If Lark doesn't get her to do a book, I hope she does a book through some other publisher because in just reading her blog I felt I was learning so much!

    Cosmic Pea says:

All three of these books are fabulous. Keep them coming!

    Adele says:

I am impressed with the quality of Lark's Beadweaving Master Class books so far. They truly are master classes.

    Melody says:

    The books are great!

    Bev B says:

These books sound fantastic, plus I love your choice of books by the other Bead Master Goddesses! Don't forget Nan C. Meinhardt! “Bead, needle, thread” three of my favorite words!

    Cyndy says:

Oooh, looking forward to the Sherry Serafini book! I also would love a book by Diane Hyde.

    Dani179 says:

That's amazing!!!! I like these artists so much. Great idea. For us in Germany its pretty hard to get the books in a typical bookstore. But thanks god for amazon. :-) I would like to have them all – I like what these 3 ladies do with the tiny beads!
