You didn’t think it would end with my post about the wedding ring Joanna Gollberg made me, did you?!

In anticipation of yesterday’s site launch party, my boss had told the Jewelry Team, “Wear a party hat,” and I took him at his word. Since I don’t own any party hats, however, I wore my huge black feather fascinator (did I mention it’s huge?), which I bought about 6 years ago at Magar Hatworks in Charleston. I got so many compliments about it that it got me to thinking…

See, I’ve been sniffing around the etsy shop BlumeBloom for the last 6 to 8 weeks, admiring a bridal fascinator called the Casablanca but telling myself, “You already have a veil, you have a veil, you have a veil, do you really need to spend more money on this wedding?”

So now that I have less than 2 weeks ’til the big day, I’ve decided that yes, I need it! So check out what I bought! I hope it looks as sweet on me as it does on designer Emily Wootton, who’s shown here modeling it. I can’t wait for the package to arrive! I’m doing a little jig of joy in anticipation.

This is sooo unique! I've never heard of a “fascinator” before, but it lives up to the name. Really lovely for a wedding or a formal affair. Thanks for sharing!!!
