My Weekend, As Imagined Through The Works of Felieke Van Der Leest
November 03, 2010, 17:16 pm Posted by Lark Jewelry & BeadingBefore heading out of town for a family wedding, I found myself daydreaming about the long weekend to come so I storyboarded my impending adventures through the jewelry of Felieke van der Leest. Enjoy!
We’re flying on a VERY big bird to Austin, Texas…
…which is famous for its Congress Bridge Bats.
We will don our fanciest attire…
…to celebrate the radiant bride…
…and the debonair groom.
Bar B Que will be eaten…
…and we will dance and dance and dance…
…all the way home!
You had too much time on your hands!
Wonderful!
Holy Crap.
Fabulous my dear! Miss you already.
Freakin’ awesome post, Marthe–and Felieke is the BEST!!!
I was able to meet Felieke van der Leest and see her studio years ago when I was in graduate school. Our metalsmithing department at Cranbrook Academy of Art took a trip to visit other grad students overseas. She is still making the most lovely things I have ever seen!
