100 Pretty Little Projects Giveaway!

August 12, 2011, 11:59 am  Posted by needlearts

100 Pretty Little ProjectsFor the past few years, Lark editors curated and published eight books in the Pretty Little series, showcasing the work of some of the most talented craft designers in the world. So it was an “a-ha!” moment when an editor looked back and realized there were so many pretty little projects, it was time for a best-of compilation: 100 Pretty Little Projects was born.

We still hope that pincushion fans will seek out the pincushion book. Or if you’re looking for the perfect pillow project you’ll flip open Pretty Little Pillows. But for the dabblers, for those who want a wide variety of sewing projects at their disposal, we have a book, and a giveaway, for you!

To enter for a chance to win a copy of 100 Pretty Little Projects, please leave a comment on this post by 9 p.m. EST on Friday, August 19. Any comment is fine—though we’d love to hear about what kind of pretty little project you want to sew first! One winner will be selected at random from among all eligible entries and notified by Monday, August 22. Pazia82 is the winner!

I can only say wow, I would love to win this book to guide my group to new and broader crafts.  I lead a group of special needs adults in their very own cardmaking and crafts enterprise.  Unfortunately, they seem to be stuck on cards because one of the moms is stuck on only card making.  I would love to use this book to help the adults branch out, learn new things, and have the possibility of making more money than they thought possible. This is a group who thought they would never have jobs, much less their own business.

    Danny Heyen says:

I would LOVE to work with appliques. I’ve tried in the past with no real success… Rather than happy, cute little creatures, I ended up creating slightly warped and tortured looking animals that are more suited to Halloween attire than flouncy skirts and baby blankets. This book appears to have some excellent examples of how appliques can be done correctly, and if nothing else, shows images to follow so I don’t have to rely solely on my less-than-stellar memory!! Plus, I’d be lying if I weren’t excited to teach my little lady to sew, you know, once she can sit up on her own! These small projects would be great for teaching her to navigate a sewing machine.

I am impressed with this website , rattling I am a fan.

Nice read, I just passed this onto a friend who was doing a little research on that. And he actually bought me lunch because I found it for him smile Thus let me rephrase that: Thank you for lunch! “No one can wear a mask for very long.” by Seneca.

Rattling nice style and fantastic content material, nothing else we require : D.

I have recently started a blog, the info you provide on this site has helped me greatly. Thank you for all of your time & work.
