Fa La La La Fabulous…. with a free project!

Fa la la la wow! When we first published Fa la la la Felt two years ago as our first-ever experiment with an eBook, we had no idea it would still be selling like hotcakes (gingerbread?) heading into its third holiday season. In fact, the print version is so popular we hear it’s selling out on some online retailers. But don’t worry: You can still find the eBook here.

We had a hunch the book’s fresh take on felt holiday ornaments, stockings, and decorations would make this a seasonal favorite, and we hoped our readers would appreciate that many of the projects are appropriate for any time of year. But we never imagined that what started out as a fun experiment (let’s try an eBook!) would turn into the little book that could in both digital and print versions. We so enjoyed seeing where that awesome group of designers’ imaginations took them with Christmas that we invited them to fabricate an entire calendar’s worth of projects for you. This spring, Heart-Felt Holidays will bring you more easy-to-make decorations and gifts for Valentine’s Day, Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, birthdays, baby showers, and more. (You may want to drop some hints for Santa to bring you felt for Christmas so you can start stocking up now.)

But first, here’s a thank you for embracing Fa la la la Felt so warmly. We’ve yet to see anyone look at Cathy Gaubert’s adorable Toadstools without grinning…download the instructions and make your own toadstool ornaments! It has been so fun to see what people are making from the projects in the book: check out the book’s flickr group!
