To celebrate the release of Sew Tina! with fabric designer Tina Givens, we’re throwing a little eparty! And you get the goods: three free projects, a chance to win a copy of the book (and other treasures), and a months worth of Tina – welcome to the first stop on her official blog tour!

    Tina Givens is one of my top favorite designers. I still collect her fabrics like I do books, they all go together in an amazing way. I just recently got a couple of pieces of the Flamingos and I got Opal Owl as soon as it was available. My favorite is Treetop Fancy, but I’ve got tons of Annabella, Fairy Tip Toes, and more.

    My daughter’s interest grew in owls – before they became popular again. Back in the day, I remember those macrame owl’s in the 70′s were the rage, along with other fashion apparel. I was looking for some projects to make with owls, such as a pillow, or other items for her for Christmas. I will enjoy to make Olly the Owl for her. It will really brighten her day. It is very cute.
