This year I plan to make a bunch of chunky cowls in bright colors. Fun, easy and fast. I think wearing bold colors in the dark, gray winter is the best! Thanks for having this giveaway.

I have a couple of washcloths for gifts this year. I wish I could do more, but we have a new baby and I’ve found that I just don’t have as much time/energy to knit–and she needs mittens!

  • JoyceLM

I have 1 knitted throw completed except for weaving in the ends & blocking it. And I have 2 other knitted throws still on the needles. Thanks for the chance to win.

I am working on some funky things – Swiffer (TM) washable dusters, soap scrap bags, pillows for my sisters made with an antique quilt that fell apart (made by our great grandmother) and lots of food related things – homemade extracts (vanilla, chocolate mint) soap, croutons, spice mixes….

  • Carrie P.

I am making some pillow covers for my DIL and also made her a table runner for Christmas.
    thanks for the giveaway.

Nothing planned for holiday giving. A large afghan planned for a grandchild soon. Want to check for colors and style. I have been crocheting hat and scarf sets for needy children. Looking for patterns.

Right now the only homemade gift I have planned is a stained glass panel for my mom. I hope to have time to make some other items!!

I usually sew gifts for Christmas, but haven’t started on anything yet. I do love to knit too, though. Thanks for the giveaway!

I would love to win! I think my sister would finally teach me how to knit if I gifted her one of these. LOL!

  • Marie/Underground Crafter

I’ve been working on my holiday gifts since March and I’ve made 14 so far. I just have a few more projects before the holidays :) . Thanks for offering the giveaway.

  • wordygirl

My holiday crafting plans were derailed by a broken ankle, so I’m now thinking of handwork, maybe making some baby blocks from felt, and a cute “pb&j” felt game.

  • cheryl scaccio

I have one or 2 skeins of everything! These books look great.

  • Anonymous

I am crocheting cowls and beading jewelry.

  • Chelsea W

I’m knitting scarves and shawls and starting a blanket (we’ll see how far I get :-)

I may be making my nephew a dinosaur hoodie.

  • Kim Reid

I’m planning to make some scarves and slippers for gifts this year, thanks!

  • Kristin

I’d love to be entered! I’m doing a lot of knitting for Christmas gifts this year: hats for my dad and brother and a cowl (and maybe some socks) for my mom. :)

  • justval

I have been knitting scarves like a crazy woman. I cut my hair off short, so a hat is definitely high up on my knitting list!

I’ve already knitted a man’s scarf as well as a glitzy ruffled scarf. On my needles now is a ruched cowl, the first of two. I have on order a pattern & hand-dyed yarn for a slouched beret and will combine it with a free scarf pattern to make a matched set. Plus, going to crochet delicate white (cotton) snowflakes– for a garland to display and to put on packages. I have some beaded earrings planned as well as bracelets, and cross stitched gifts as well. Handcrafted rules!

  • Tammy Hempel

I am making my grandchildren a bear quilts, puppy and not sure about the third one I still have time. The adults are getting embroidered towels and such. I have been busy this year.

  • Carmen Nuland

I was getting too stressed trying to decide and work on Christmas gifts this year, so for the most part I’m going to take it easy on myself and only make a couple of gifts – card stacks for friends and maybe finish a bath mat (crocheted) for my sister.

  • Karyn French

I am making my mother-in-law some market bags…because she asked and she will appreciate them.

  • Maureen

Would love to win. Hats are one of my favorite things to knit.

  • Kat

I won’t be doing very much Christmas knitting this year. Maybe a pair of socks or two and some wash cloth sets for a few people. But I could certainly use patterns for 1-2 skeins since I have quite a few singles and duos, so I’d love to have these books!

Iris’ yarns and patterns are absolutely the best!

I am still a knitting newbie. I just know real basics but always trying harder things. I made my first fingerless mitts this year. Love Artyarns. Iris is a genius. Would love the chance to win. Thanks for the opportunity.
