“Leather Jewelry” Giveaway

October 14, 2010, 18:00 pm  Posted by Lark

It seems like everyone’s selling leather bracelets this season.

[nggallery id=33]

Now, you could just plunk down your credit card for one of these fashion must-haves…or you can make your own, and then you get to customize it. “Oh, I don’t know how to work with leather,” you might be thinking. That’s no problem. Here’s a giveaway of three signed copies of Leather Jewelry, written by yours truly. (Yes, yes, it’s shameless self-promotion time.) The book gives instructions for choosing leather, cutting it, punching it, setting eyelets and grommets and such–everything you need to know to fashion it into jewelry. And it contains step-by-step instructions for 30 projects. Take a gander at just a few of them:

“Oh, those look hard to make.” No, no, no, nothing could be further from the facts. Really. Truly. I taught myself on the fly to work with leather, and it’s one of the easiest, most forgiving materials I’ve ever crafted with.

So, how do you enter for a chance to win this groovy book? Simply leave a comment on this post by 11:59 p.m. EST on Thursday, October 28, 2010. Any comment is fine. Three winners will be selected at random and notified on Friday, October 29. Click here for the official rules. Good luck!
